The second list is Engineers, Surveyors and Designers, the Engineers are used in the planning process and design process if the site specifics require a Professionl Engineer. The Surveyors are used when a property is being subdivided and requires planning or when a 10 Acre-Permit Exemption is requested. All plot plans must be completed by a Resigtered Professional Land Surveyor, keep in mind some of the municipalities have Land Development Ordinances that must be addressed for municipal approval. The designers on the list design the on-lot septic system utilizing the soils test information from the Sewage Enforcement Officer and Chapter 73. The third list is Registered Pumpers they are qualified septic pumpers and haulers for the removal of septage to an approved DEP disposal site. In our local agency we currentlly manage three Management Districts.
